Sustainability and Collaboration Take Centre Stage at Alliott Global EMEA Conference in Sofia
Alliott Global Alliance’s EMEA Regional Conference was held in Sofia, Bulgaria in May.
Representing one of the 85 delegates from 54 firms across 30 countries, Alliott Global APAC Chair Scott Jago praised the rich conference program, networking events and social activities.
The event featured panel discussions and workshops on insightful topics in the legal and accounting industries, such as the impact of AI and cybersecurity, ESG compliance, the digital economy and leadership development.
Scott’s participation was aimed at gaining deeper tax insights that would benefit APAC members, which he is now keen to integrate into the region. This approach ensures that Allan Hall’s clients are well-informed and better equipped to navigate the complexities of tax in a globalised economy.
A highlight was keynote Pamela Cone of Amity Advisory, a leading ESG consultant. Her presentation decoded ESG, predicting that in five years ESG will become a routine part of business operations. She emphasised the commercial opportunities in ESG consulting while also urging firms to consider the environmental impact of their work.
Another highlight was the launch of AGAOne, Alliott Global Alliance’s digital collaborative platform. Tech partner LexRing demonstrated how it can enhance synergies and opportunities between member firms.
The opportunity to connect with professionals from diverse backgrounds in such a historic and vibrant city added a unique and enjoyable dimension to the conference.
